CONTINUATION OF SF 30 BLOCK 20:This amendment clarifies the qualifications for the CQC System Manager as referenced in Amendment 0005 and Specification Section 01 45 00, paragraph 1.4.B.QUESTION:Â Amendment 0005 introduces a requirement that the CQC System Manager have a degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management; with five years of construction experience. This contradicts the specifications, 01 45 00 para 1.4.B which state the CQC System Manager is required to be a construction person with a minimum of 10 years in related work, and no mention of a requirement to have a degree. Will a construction person with 10 years experience in related work be acceptable in lieu of a degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management? ANSWER: Yes. Ten (10) years experience in related construction work is acceptable in lieu of a degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
