Intent to Sole Source for Bloomberg Industry Group-s Congressional and Legislative Information and Tracking Service licenses
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Products and Commercial Services, in conjunction with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 47QACA25R0057. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information received.
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), Office of Inspector General (OIG) is an intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to Bloomberg Industry Group, Inc. 1801, South Bell Street, Arlington, Virginia 22202-450, to provide a (1) twelve month a base period and four (4) one-year option periods for five (5) Congressional and Legislative Information and Tracking Service licenses to enable the OIG to monitor legislation and other congressional actions affecting the SBA, the OIG, and the Inspector General community as a whole, in order to effectively carry out its mission under the Inspector General Act of 1978 as amended.
