Bid Advertisement Construction Of Parks Creek Reservoir And Dam Project The City Of Jefferson (the ¿city¿) Is Soliciting Sealed Bids For Furnishing All Materials, Labor, Tools, Equipment, And Appurtenances Necessary For The Construction Of The Parks Creek Reservoir And Dam Project. Sealed Bids Will Be Received By The City At The City Of Jefferson City Hall Located At 147 Athens Street, Jefferson, Ga 30549, Until 2:00 P.m., Local Time, On Wednesday, September 10th, 2025, And Then At Said Office Publicly Opened And The Bid Price Read Aloud. The Work Is Generally Described As Follows: The Construction Of An Earthen Embankment Dam, Spillway Systems, Raw Water Pumping Facilities, And Raw Water Pipelines. The Proposed Dam Will Be Located On Parks Creek In Unincorporated Jackson County, Georgia Approximately 4-¾ Miles Northeast Of Jefferson, Georgia. The Proposed Reservoir Will Be Supplemented By Pumping Water From The North Oconee River. Approximately 8,300 Linear Feet Of Raw Water Main Will Be Required From The Intake And Pump Station Located At The North Oconee River To The Proposed Reservoir.
