Description :Through this Request for Proposals RIHousing seeks proposals from qualified firms to create two rosters of consultants able to provide a variety of technical assistance to municipalities, with a goal of identifying and moving forward housing development projects or making zoning changes to increase housing opportunities in proximity to transit.Consultants will assist with the following programs:Pipeline Development: Assist municipalities in identifying opportunities for and moving forward with residential development projects, particularly those that include affordable or middle-income units.Transit-Oriented Development Zoning Technical Assistance Program (TOD TA Program): Assist municipalities with supporting zoning changes that enable additional housing development in proximity to transit.Firms must be specific as to which of the activities they can provide and through which programs (Pipeline Development Grant and/or TOD TA Program).
