- The PUCT is issuing an RFP for a Contractor to:(i) provide expert consulting services toassist the Commission in the development of standards for the structuralintegrity of transmission and distribution poles in accordance with newlyenacted Texas Utilities Code § 38.006;(ii) review and analyze distribution pole plans and updates andtransmission and distribution structural integrity standards reports filed byutilities in compliance with House Bill 144 (89thR.S.) and SenateBill 1789 (89thR.S.) and adopted rules; and (iii) providerecommendations to the Commission regarding utilities- compliance with thesubmitted plans, updates, and reports.
