Synopsis/Notice of Intent to Sole Source AwardTHIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The United States Marshals Service (USMS), Prisoner Operations Division anticipates issuance of the proposed solicitation number 15M40025RA3500006 to award a Fixed-price contract with economic price adjustment for the USMS District of New Mexico. Similar solicitations may be announced for the following:

The purpose of the proposed sole source contract actions is to acquire detention services for individuals charged with federal offenses and detained while awaiting trial or sentencing, a hearing on immigration status, or deportation.
The secured detention facility shall be a contractor-owned/contractor-operated detention facility with a capacity to accommodate between 1,000 to 1,300 detainees at a single site to include special housing units. The requirement includes secure transportation services for the district including: USMS Justice Prisoner & Alien Transportation System airlifts, guard services (medical and non-medical), jail-to-jail transfers, and jail-to-court-to-jail transportation.
The facility shall be located within the geographic boundaries of the primary district it serves.
