Description:
Various Frederick County agencies are responsible for providing the resources and expertise needed to manage the quality, cost, schedule, scope, and risks associated with building maintenance of County-owned facilities.Soliciting proposals from Contractors to provide countywide new installs, services and repairs for HVAC and Mechanical systems allows the County to employ its resources in such a way as to protect the interest of the County, reduce the amount of downtime, and allow for the unexpected or emergency repair of the HVAC and Mechanical systems in a timely fashion.Frederick County, Maryland (the “County”) is seeking proposals from qualified heating and cooling system firms (the “Contractor”) for the provision of all labor, materials, equipment, parts, permits, insurance, supervision, and transportation necessary to maintain all brands of HVAC and Mechanical systems located throughout the County. The services are to be provided on an as-needed basis and may include new install, full maintenance services, including routine/preventive maintenance services, minor repairs, inspections, and emergency/major maintenance services (including all operating, distributing, and controlling components). Services are to be provided in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications of this solicitation.
