Description : The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of General Services (DGS), is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) to procure Firearms and accessories for the Capitol Police Department (CPD). The resulting contract will meet the needs of the CPD for duty weapons and accessories.This is a no substitute bid for the firearms; the only firearm that will be accepted for this bid is the Glock 47 MOS., 9MM, Standard nDLC.All bidders must be a Glock dealer/distributor authorized to see to Pennsylvania law enforcement and must have a Federal Firearms License and a Pennsylvania Firearms License. A copy of the authorization and licenses should be attached with the bid.Additionally, qualified suppliers must be registered in the Commonwealth's SRM system.
