The requirement is for ongoing Crane, Rigging, and Flatbed Equipment Moving Services at McGregor Range, NM in support of the Japanese Self-Defense Forces. The contractor shall perform tasks including loading and unloading specialized freight (such as HAWK and PATRIOT equipment), assembling and disassembling Japanese HAWK systems, handling sandbags and crating materials with trailers, and loading/unloading CHUSAM missiles with 24-hour notice. All missions require two cranes supported by riggers, except when only flatbed support is needed. The Contracting Officers Representative (COR) will provide updates regarding any changes to crane service schedule. These services will occur regularly throughout the year and are not one-time events. See PWS for full details.
