Description:
Under the terms of this bid, the bidder shall be capable of providing crane/hoist preventive maintenance, inspection, and repair services at the Easterly, Southerly, and Westerly Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTPs), and various Pump Stations. This contract will be for a duration of three (3) years. The Contractor shall perform preventive maintenance, inspections, testing services, certifications, and as-needed repairs to 100 District-owned and operated cranes/hoists. Scheduled inspections shall take place on a specified basis for all District cranes as described in this bid. The Contractor shall also be responsible for as-needed crane repairs and inspection services to be performed as requested by District personnel.By submission of this bid, the bidder warrants that it is understood that this estimate was prepared by The District for the purpose of comparison of bids and that the estimated quantities are not guaranteed. In addition, the bidder warrants that it is understood that The District reserves the right to increase or decrease the requested quantities specified, as The District may deem desirable. The treatment plants and Pump Station facilities are in operation seven (7) days per week, 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. All bidders must provide a 24-hour contact name and phone number on letterhead paper, with their bid.
