THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. THIS IS FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY - This notice does not constitute a solicitation announcement or restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach and NO AWARD will occur from this notice. NO SOLICITATION, SPECIFICATIONS, OR DRAWINGS are available for this Notice. This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Invitation for Bid (IFB).
INTRODUCTION:
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District, is issuing this Sources Sought notice and conducting market research as a means to identify the interest and capabilities of both small and large business entities for construction, site work and utility installation for a new restroom building at the Crooked River Lock on the Crooked River in Alanson, Michigan. The work expected is to include providing and installing a pre-engineered restroom building, a grinder pump station, a force main within the public right of way, utilities to provide water, sewer and electrical connections throughout the site, and sitework and restoration. There may also be an optional task that would include placement of rip rap in-water adjacent to the facility.
The estimated cost of construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00.
BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES (IN FULL OR IN PART) OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. All Small Business Set-Aside categories will be considered. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions.

The place of performance will be at the Crooked River Lock on the Crooked River in Alanson, Michigan.
