Description:
bids for the Custodial Services Contract will be received by the City of Clayton Finance Department, 10 N. Bemiston Avenue, Clayton, MO 63105-3397, until 9:00 A.M. CST, on Friday, August 29, 2025. The bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud immediately after the afore mentioned closing time and date in the Council Chambers, 2 nd floor, 10 N. Bemiston Avenue, Clayton, MO 63105-3397. The Scope of Work consists of a three (3) year custodial services contract that may be renewed for two additional three year periods upon terms agreeable to both parties. Three City owned facilities are included and are located at 10 N Bemiston Avenue (aka City Hall), 10 S Brentwood Boulevard (aka Police Station and Municipal Building) and 8300 Shaw Park Drive (aka Municipal Garage). The City has a construction project planned at 8300 Shaw Park Drive anticipated to occur September 2025 till October 2026. This will reduce the area to be clean at 8300 Shaw Park Drive. All requirements and other incidental items shall be included as shown in the specifications. Bid packages can be requested using the link below. A mandatory walkthrough of the areas to be cleaned will be held between August 22, 2025, 8am-9:30am starting at 10 N Bemiston Avenue in the Council Chambers. Participation is mandatory to be eligible to submit a bid. A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City.
