Description:
Bid Synopsis: The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), intends to utilize the results of this procurement to establish a Contract with a Supplier, who can provide year-round program administration of the State of Wisconsin-s interstate highway Safety Rest Area (SRA), Safety and Weight Enforcement Facilities (SWEF), and additional secondary sites, for services that are performed by Service Providers that are obtained from a separate contract for the custodial care, landscape maintenance, and maintenance/repair services of the facilities and grounds. The awarded Contractor will provide year-round program administration, review Service Provider-s executed tasks of the facility maintenance, ensuring quality standards are met; review that Service Providers comply and are completing all contract requirements/service tasks; budget/spend tracking; program coordination between interested parties (that can include government agencies such as WisDOT, tourism, Department of Natural Resources (DNR), the traveling public, supply vendors, private consultants, and others); in addition to program recordkeeping and reporting. The awarded management contract is estimated to begin on July 1, 2025. The awarded Contractor would have oversight of the following two (2) maintenance programs: • Rest Area Maintenance (RAM) Program.
