NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE SOLE SOURCE AWARD
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Indian Health Service (IHS), Bemidji Area intends to award a Firm Fixed Priced Contract on a sole source basis to Data Innovations, for the White Earth Health Center in Ogema, MN. The anticipated period of performance will be for a base plus 4 option years.
The sole source action will be issued under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501(a) - only one source, Data Innovations, is reasonably available due to the proprietary nature of the software, no other company can service the Data Innovations middleware system which provides communication between the laboratory instrumentation and the Indian Health Service electronic health record system, RPMS. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 518210 -Data processing, hosting and related services. The Product Service Code is 7A21 -Business Application Software (Perpetual License Software).
