This notice serves to inform the public about an upcoming project in Chiang Mai in northern Thailand, approximately 700 km north of Bangkok. The project is located within a Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) base. The government anticipates issuing a solicitation around June 2025. Additionally, this notice seeks to gather names of contractors interested in attending the site visit for the Base Access Request (BAR), which will be facilitated by the US Government.
Projects Description: This Design-Build (DB) project involves the construction of a single-story, column-free warehouse facility. This project must be designed and constructed in accordance with either the International Building Code (IBC), the Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), and other applicable Thai government regulations as stated in the Request for Proposal (RFP). All constructed facilities must adhere to applicable quality, safety, and environmental standards, ensuring resilience against adverse weather conditions, including heavy rainfall during the rainy season.
