Description:
This specification describes delivery and installation of palms Citywide for use by the Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Tampa. Awardee shall provide and/or install palms identified on the bid lines according to bid specifications on citywide street rights of way and/or any public lands within the City of Tampa as instructed by the City Horticulturist Representative or Designee. Awardee shall furnish all materials, equipment, and labor as necessary for preparation of planting areas, soil treatment, planting of palms, removal of designated plants, protection of plants, maintenance, guarantee and replacement of plants and related items as required to complete the work as indicated and specified herein. A list of addresses or locations for receiving palms will be provided to the Awardee. Specific planting locations will be assigned by “Project Planting List” for a maximum of 10 palms for each “Project Planting List” scheduled. The Awardee is responsible for having a truck to water material upon initial installation and to meet any necessary criteria in this specification.
