W912EE - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District, intends to issue Solicitation Number W912EE25BA008 for Delta, LA, Madison Parish, RM 438.0-R A.H.P, FC/MR&T, Channel Improvement, Articulated Concrete Mattress Casting, FY-25.
The work to be performed consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, and equipment needed, and performing all work as required in casting the articulated concrete mattress in Delta, Louisiana. The principal features of the work include supplying aggregate and cementitious materials; and batching and placing concrete. The requirement calls for base work and two (2) options. The estimated period of performance for completion of construction is 160 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.
This requirement is being procured under FAR 14, Sealed Bidding. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB), and the resulting contract shall be one (1) Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) Construction Supply contract. The set-aside for this procurement is Total Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 327390 - Other Concrete Product Manufacturing, with a size standard of 500 employees. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 9390 - Miscellaneous Fabricated Nonmetallic Materials.
In accordance with DFARS 236.204(i), the magnitude of this construction project is estimated to be between $10 Million and $25 Million.
The Government intends to award without discussions but reserves the right to conduct discussion should it be deemed in the Government-s best interest.
The bids will be evaluated based on lowest price submitted. The bidding instructions and closing date for submission of bids will be contained in the solicitation notice. The Government will not provide written paper copies of the solicitation. Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests for the solicitation package will not be honored.
