This is a PRESOLICITATION NOTICE for an upcoming solicitation for the Indian Health Service (IHS). This notice is for INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY and is NOT a request for offers.
The Government anticipates releasing the solicitation around the beginning of April 2025 with proposals due at least 30 calendar days after solicitation issuance. This date is subject to change. A full scope of work, plans and specifications and labor standards will be included in the solicitation documents. Hard copy documents will not be available - all documents for proposal purposes will be posted at www.sam.gov for download by interested parties.
SET-ASIDE: This project will be procured as a set-aside 100% for Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE) firms under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 238910 Site Preparation Contractors. The associated size standard for this procurement is $19 million. For information concerning NAICS and SBA size standards, go to https://www.sba.gov.
SCOPE OF WORK SUMMARY: The contractor shall demolish and dispose of the original hospital building (Building 21) and Nurse-s Quarters (Building 22) located on the campus of the Nespelem Health Center in Nespelem, WA, on the Colville Indian Reservation and return and the land to leasable condition. The buildings were constructed in 1934-35 by the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA). The original hospital building is a two-story (1st floor and daylight basement), 17,010 square feet concrete building on a concrete slab. The Nurse-s quarters is a single story concrete structure and concrete basement on a concrete slab, which is 3,402 square feet.
