Description:
The City of New Smyrna Beach is requesting sealed qualifications from licensed contractors to provide Project Title.The intent of this solicitation is to establish a pool of Contractors to provide demolition services on an as-need basis using purchase orders issued by the City. The City makes no covenant or promises as to the number of available projects or that the awarded Contractors will perform any project for the City during the life of the basic contract. The basic contract does not authorize the performance of any work or require the City to place orders for work.Expiration of the term of the contract will have no effect upon task assignments issued pursuant to the basic contract and prior to the expiration date. Obligations entered therein by both parties shall remain in effect until completion of the work previously authorized by the City.If made, the recommendation of award will be made to the best overall contractor(s) whose qualifications proposal is most advantageous to the City, taking into consideration the evaluation factors set forth in this document.Proposers shall become familiar with all the terms contained in the contract and be willing to execute the contract before submitting a proposal. There shall be no exceptions to either the scope of services or the terms of the contract.
