The USGS North Carolina Water Science Center has a requirement to demolition and removal of reinforced concrete stilling well, headwall, and associated structures. The demolition and removal includes, but not limited to the following:- To demolish and remove a discontinued data collection station and associated debris that have fallen into the main channel of the Yadkin River. After removal any holes will be filled with an appropriate material to prevent entry, and the bank will be stabilized and restored to natural conditions.- Work will take place in the following county in North Carolina: Lenoir- Period of Performance is 90 days after notice to proceed is issued.- The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $150,000- Request for Quotes (RFQ) 140G0125Q0126 will close June 11, 2025, 10:00 am pacific time. - A site visit will be held on May 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. (EST) CONTRACTORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND THE SITE VISIT. For site visit information please refer to FAR Clauses 52.236-27 and 52.236-27A*1.
