The contract is expected to be awarded under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B). A Justification for Single Source Awards for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared. The anticipated award date is 06/16/2025.The contractor will provide Electric Motor Dental Engines (54.0838.00) and the accessories that go with it to the Clarksburg VA Medical Center. This is a brand name only requirement. These services will be performed at the Clarksburg VA Medical Center located at 1 Medical Center Drive, Clarksburg, WV 26301.NAICS code: 339114 Dental Equipment and Supplies Manufacturing(SBA Size Standard 750 Employees) PSC: 6520 - Dental Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement within seven calendar days after publication of this notice. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses will be considered.
