Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8, hereby announces its intentto award a sole-source, firm-fixed contract to ProAlliance Corp for KaVo dental handpieces. This contract is designated for the Dental Clinic at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, situated at 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd, Tampa, FL 33612.The anticipated award is in compliance with FAR 13.106.1(b), which permits sole sourcecontracts when only one source can supply the required supplies or services at the necessaryquality level due to their unique or highly specialized nature. The contract falls under the firm fixed-price category according to NAICS Code 339114, with a small business size standard of 750 employees. A Sole Source Justification has been duly prepared. The contract's base performance period is slated from 06/13/2025 08/12/2025. This announcement does not solicit competitive proposals or offers, and no solicitation package will be provided. The decision not to engage in competitive procurement rests solely with the Government. Any responses to this notice should present clear and convincing evidence that competition would be beneficial to the Government. Additionally, responsible sources are invited to submit a capabilities statement demonstrating, by a preponderance of the evidence, that another contractor can fulfill a service contract for the KaVo dental handpieces at the James A.
