THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT'S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD. This Notice is to announce that the Department of Veteran Affairs, Consolidated Mail-Out Phamacy(CMOP) located in Leavenworth, Kansas is proposing to negotiate a sole source contract with SJS Executives, LLC , a Service Disabled Veteran -Owned Small business(SDVOSB) on a sole source basis, for the continuation of temporary maintenance services supporting ongoing maintenance on their automated equipment. The proposed action is for services needed for a unknown short period from 3 8 months. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of U.S.C. 38 8127 and VAAR 819.7008. Background:Leavenworth CMOP was scheduled shut down their operations at the current Leavenworth site and relocate all operations over to a new site located in Shawnee Kansas NLT January 31st 2025. At which time these services would no longer be needed. There has been a delay in that transition and the operations are expected to continue for up to an additional 8 months.
