The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Louisville District intends to issue Request for Proposal (RFP) W912QR25RA014 for the repair the Army Reserve Center (ARC), building 662 (23,750 SF) at the BT Collins Army Reserve Center (ARC), Sacramento, California. This project will eliminate identified deficiencies; extend the economic life of the facility by 25 years. Building components and systems to be repaired include the roofing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC); electrical distribution; water distribution and fire alarm and suppression systems, ceilings, windows and doors, floor coverings, interior reconfiguration and interior and exterior finishes. This project shall comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act and demolished failing components will be removed and disposed properly. Repair of exterior structural elements such as spalling concrete on beams and correction of all life safety deficiencies while maintaining the elements of the building's exterior. The restored facility will meet minimum DOD Antiterrorism standards. The project repairs will comply with, Energy Policy Act of 2005, EISA 2007, EO 13834, DoDI, and DoDI 4170.11 and related policies with High performance of Sustainable Buildings and Industry Standards integrated in UFC 1-200-02.
