Description
Request for Proposal (RFP) Solicitation Number W912QR25RA014, is issued for the renovation of the existing Army Reserve Center (ARC), building 662, at the BT Collins ARC in Sacramento, California. This project will eliminate identified deficiencies; extend the economic life of the facility by 25 years. Building components and systems to be repaired include the roofing, heating, ventilation, and airconditioning (HVAC); electrical distribution; water distribution and fire alarm and suppression systems, ceilings, windows and doors, floor coverings, interior reconfiguration and interior and exterior finishes. This project shall comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act and demolished failing components will be removed and disposed properly. Repair of exterior structural elements such as spalling concrete on beams and correction of all life safety deficiencies while maintaining the elements of the building's exterior. The restored facility will meet minimum DOD Antiterrorism standards. The project repairs will comply with, Energy Policy Act of 2005, EISA 2007, EO 13834, DoDI, and DoDI 4170.11 and related policies with High performance of Sustainable Buildings and Industry Standards integrated in UFC 1-200-02. Air Conditioning (Estimated 18 Tons). This project contains options.The project duration is estimated at 740 calendar days from Contract Notice to Proceed (NTP).TYPE OF CONTRACT AND NAICS: This RFP will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) for this effort is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction.This award is Subject to the Availability of Funds (SAF).TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: Total Small Business Set-Aside Procurement.
