- The San Francisco International Airport is seeking qualified firms, teams, joint ventures, or other qualified business entities to submit a Minimum Qualifications Application and, if prequalified, a proposal for Design-Build Services for the Boarding Area F Refresh Project (Project).The Project will include the programming, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and activation of reconfigured aircraft parking positions with new passenger boarding bridges and associated aircraft systems at select gates in Terminal 3, Boarding Area F. These gates, approximately seven in total, will accommodate a mix of narrow and wide-body aircraft. The Project may also include installation of Common Use Systems and Infrastructure for aircraft systems (Advanced Visual Docking Guidance Systems (AVDGS), cameras, operational Wi-Fi, etc.) and boarding systems (Flight Information Displays (FIDs), gate podiums, etc.) for each gate, as well as repairs, replacement, and/or improvement of the egress staircases, apron pavement, and the fuel hydrant system port.
