Description:
As requested by the Engineering and Project Management Division (hereinafter, the “Division”), the Collier County Board of County Commissioners Procurement Services Division (hereinafter, “County”) has issued this Request for Professional Services (hereinafter, “RPS”) with the intent of obtaining proposals from interested and qualified Design-Build Firms in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications stated or attached. The Consultant, at a minimum, must achieve the requirements of the Specifications or Scope of Work stated. The County is interested in receiving qualifications and proposals from experienced design-build teams to extend the County-s water, wastewater and irrigation quality utility lines and fiber infrastructure located within the Oil Well Road corridor.The project is located on Oil Well Road, east of Desoto Boulevard to a point prior to the intersection of Oil Well Road and State Road 29. The target substantial completion date is June 30, 2027. The general project information is indicated in the Scope of Work below.The project information included in this RPS-Initial Qualifications Submittal is preliminary in nature. More definitive and detailed information will be provided during the second phase of the RPS. At the County-s option, the services may be contracted to the extent required by the County. There is no contract guaranteed as a result of being shortlisted or top-ranked through this solicitation.All interested Design-Build firms shall be required to comply with Florida Statute 287.055, Design-Build requirements. All short-listed Design-Build firms will be required to post a Proposal Bond at the second step of the RPS response and will be required to comply with all Collier Countys Professional Services bonding and insurance requirements.
