This market survey is being conducted by Louisville District Corps of Engineers to determine if there are a reasonable number of interested small business concerns. If your firm is a Small Business, certified HUBZone, 8A, Woman-Owned Small Business or Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and you are interested in this project please respond appropriately.
This project will be a Design/Bid/Build (DBB).
Project Location: Westover Air Reserve Base, Massachusetts
Project Description: This project will construct a new 3,816-foot-long by 75-foot-wide Portland cement concrete (PCC)-surfaced taxiway extension (including 50-foot-wide asphalt concrete shoulders) to support C-5M aircraft and transient aircraft scheduled for isochronal maintenance in support of global airlift missions. This project also includes all related earthwork, grading, drainage, utility relocations (electrical, communications), edge lighting, signage, and pavement markings. An approved location for the contractor to have an onsite batch plant in proximity to the project site is tentative. Approved FAA and MASSDEP permits by the contractor are a requirement for this project as well as approval by the US Army Corps of Engineers Transport Center of Expertise for the airfield mix designs.
Contract duration is estimated at 625 calendar days. The estimated cost range is between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000 per DFARS 236.204. NAICS code is 237310.
