• Description:
• Introduction:We are seeking expressions of interest from qualified vendors to design a comprehensive costing model and gather cost data for energy, water, and material efficiency measures for Africa, Asia, Middle East, Latin America and the Caribbean, Eastern Europe, Western Europe and US and Canada regions. The key components of this project include:•Development of a lifecycle cost and payback methodology for Design, Energy, Water, and Materials of EDGE Buildings based on standards (e.g. EN 15459-1:2017) and/or best practices•Cost of products, labor and services for measures of EDGE Buildings that have an impact on energy and/or water operational efficiency and embodied carbon, e.g. building fabric, HVAC systems, insulation, glazing, plumbing fixtures, green concrete, etc. •Discount rate, inflation rates, purchase power parity, and evolution of prices for energy, labor, products, water and service in each market•Consideration of various building types: tenant, core and shell, whole building and project type: retrofit and new buildings•Sources of cost data, update cycle, and update methodologyScope of Work:The scope of work includes, but is not limited to:•Develop a life cycle cost and payback methodology for relevant energy, water, and material efficiency measures, accounting for regional and measure-specific cost variations for IFC EDGE Buildings program•Gather cost data for all measures throughout all the regions •Deliver a comprehensive lifecycle component library•Provide a cost update methodology and shortlisted data sourcesThe assignment is expected to be delivered in 6 months time.
