On November 20 and 21, 2024, the Defense Health Agency (DHA) participated in the Alamo AFCEA Chapter Event (ACE) through Government Healthcare Track presentations. On Wednesday 20 November DHA presented seven requirements to industry outlining opportunities and information that help industry (1) understand requirements; (2) plan their business development activities; (3) develop and communicate innovative solutions to DHA; and (4) write more effective proposals supporting better contracting outcomes for DHA. On Thursday 21 November Ms. Kathleen Berst, Assistant Director - Support (Acting) and RDML Tracy Farrill, Principal Deputy, ADHCA, DHA provided updates from their respective areas of responsibility and took questions from the industry members in attendance. The Thursday session concluded with a Panel Discussion moderated by Mr. Bob Brinkmann, Deputy Director, DHA Contracting Activity on the topic of Medical Devices and Equipment (MDE) program as it relates to equipment standardization efforts, procurement, cyber security, and sustainment.
