Description:
Description : The contractor shall coordinate with the Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation (DOBOR) Engineer to gain access to the physical copies of the As-Built plan sets in storage at the Keehi Small Boat Harbor Administration Building, in Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii. There are approximately 2,750 individual physical sheets. The contractor shall take the inventory of sheets from the DOBOR storage room, digitize/scan the sheets into PDF format, and deliver the digital copies back to DOBOR along with the original physical sheets. The sheets range in size from 22”x34” to 42”x30”, irregular size sheets may also be present in the inventory and shall be scanned. Plan sets are printed on a variety of paper-types, including wax paper and velum. Some sheets are old and deteriorating, the contractor shall take all reasonable precautions to preserve the physical copies during scanning. The contractor shall organize the As-Builts. Each As-Built plan set shall be saved as a separate PDF file with the Job Number, Project Title, and project date in the file name. Each sheet shall be represented as one page in the PDF file, and sheets shall be organized in the PDF in sequential order. Misfiled, loose, and unorganized sheets in the inventory shall be identified by the contractor and placed in the appropriate plan set-s digital/scanned file.
