THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY
The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey on behalf of the Project Manager Crew Served Weapons (PMCSW), located at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ is issuing this RFI to survey the market for potential firms with the capabilities and interest to produce a Direct View Optic (DVO) and mounting hardware for the Army.
Desired design features of the DVO include:
• Mounting system compatible with MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny Rail• Elevation and windage adjustment dials for zeroing the reticle• 1-4x (threshold) • Illuminated center aim point without the use of batteries• Less than 8 inches in length• Less than 1.5 lbs• Use AA, CR123, or CR2032 batteries for its power source.• Ruggedized for Army use capable of passing MIL-STD-810G testing
