Description:
A Government in Africa wishes to rehabilitateand develop its international airport and had selected an internationaloperator (the “PSP”) to implement the project (the “Project”). The Governmentintends to negotiate directly with the PSP. IFC is soliciting expressions of interest (EoI)from a communication firm to support with the implementation of the Project (the“Consultant”). The ideal candidate would have extensiveexperience in mass communication strategy, including stakeholder mapping,crisis management and mass communication campaigns in support of public sectorreforms programs or privatizations in smaller economies or island countries inparticular. The Consultant will support IFC in theimplementation of the Project in 2 phases:- Phase 1 would cover duediligence and structuring of the transaction. - Phase 2 will cover draftingconcession document and assisting IFC support the Government in its negotiationwith the PSP. The Consultant will work in collaboration withother IFC-hired consultants (technical, environment and social and legal) andwill be part of the IFC-s transaction team.IFCinvites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing theirservices by submitting a response to this Request for Expression of Interest(REOI).
