Description:
A Government in Africa wishes to rehabilitateand develop its international airport and had selected an internationaloperator (the “PSP”) to implement the project (the “Project”). The Governmentintends to negotiate directly with the PSP. IFC is expected to assist the Government aslead transaction advisor. In order to provide its advisory, IFC is solicitingexpressions of interest (EoI) from technical firms specialized in the airportsector, technical, commercial and environmental and social aspects related toairports in the context of public private partnerships (the “Consultant”).The Consultant will support IFC in theimplementation of the Project in 2 phases:- Phase 1 would cover duediligence and structuring of the transaction. - Phase 2 will cover draftingconcession document and assisting IFC support the Government in its negotiationwith the PSP. The Consultant will work in collaboration withother IFC-hired consultants (legal and communication) and will be part of the IFC-s transaction team.IFCinvites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing theirservices by submitting a response to this Request for Expression of Interest(REOI).
