2025 992 Kronseder Bluffs Prescribed Goat Grazing The Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids for: the labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary for prescribed rotational goat grazing on 80 acres of bluff prairie and surrounding woodlands on the Kronseder Bluff Unit in the Richard J. Dorer Memorial Hardwood Forest Property for the reduction of woody vegetation encroaching on a high- quality bluff prairie habitat and surrounding savannah and woodlands. The primary target vegetation for removal is buckthorn, however, prickly ash, honeysuckle, aspen, dogwood, autumn olive, sumac, and raspberries are to be considered target species as well. Failure to respond to latest event version may result in bid rejection. Please be aware that there are attachments to this event. The vendor is responsible for reviewing all attachments and complying with all requirements to this Event. DNR will be the determining factor if vendor meets specifications. All questions should be directed to the buyer listed in this event. Unit price must include all costs such as labor, materials, tools, transportation, equipment, sales tax, use tax and all else necessary for completion of the project. Direct Pay Permit 1114 does not apply to this project. Award--Item, Group, Total: Responses that do not comply with the solicitation will be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected. The award will be made to the lowest responsible vendor meeting the specifications and all terms and conditions. The State reserves the right to award items separately, by grouping items, or by total, whichever is deemed most advantageous to the State.
