Tender are invited for Project # SFHWY00687 The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) is proposing to repair and refurbish existing electrical lighting and fire suppression systems within the Lewis Reef Road tunnel corridor underneath the Ketchikan Airport runway in Ketchikan, Alaska. DOT&PF is proposing the following activities:• Install new lamps in existing light fixtures and replace fixtures as required within Lewis Reef Road tunnel • Relace electrical components in and around existing lighting control panel to restore functionality• Replace and reconnect electrical and communications components in and around the fire alarm control panel to restore functionality • Inspect and recommission the lighting control and fire alarm systems Construction for this project is anticipated to occur in late fall of 2025 and finish within one construction season.
