Tender are invited for The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (DOT&PF) is holding an online open house and public comment period for the Prince William Sound Ferry Terminals Environmental Assessment (EA) from October 27-November 11, 2025. The EA identifies proposed improvements to ferry terminal dock facilities in Chenega, Cordova, and Tatitlek. These improvements, which vary by site, are necessary to maintain critical ferry service to these communities as older ferries are removed from service and replaced by new Alaska Class Ferries. Visit our online open house, available October 27-November 11, 2025, at www.pswferryterminals.com via the public involvement page. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by DOT&PF pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated April 13, 2023, and executed by FHWA and DOT&PF.
