Tender are invited for Tuesday, May 6, 2025 5-7 p.m.Airport Manager-s Office (SREB), Cold Bay Airport Cold Bay, AK 99571 The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) invites you to a public meeting for the Cold Bay Airport Fence Replacement and Gate Upgrades project on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. Join us from 5-7 p.m. at the Airport Manager-s Office at Cold Bay Airport to learn about the project, provide feedback, and ask questions to the project team. The proposed project plans to improve the Cold Bay Airport by replacing existing fencing, replacing and upgrading existing gates, installing new fencing to fully enclose the airfield, and providing a bear skirt on all newly installed fencing. No changes will be made to the existing access roads. Improvements will be made to the driveways through the powered gates, and a short section of new access road will be constructed along a segment of the fence line.
