Tender are invited for The Alaska Department of Transportation (DOT&PF), in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), is developing a project to rehabilitate the Skagway Highway from Milepost 1.75 to the Canadian border.Proposed work within the project corridor may include: • Pavement replacement• Drainage improvements• Guardrail replacement• Embankment stabilization• Minor roadway realignments The project team is currently working on a preliminary design and environmental analysis. A Categorical Exclusion will be completed for this project per FHWA's National Environmental Policy Act guidance and DOT&PF's Environmental Procedures Manual.Please join us for a public open house to learn about the project and provide your input.
