The USGS Eastern Ecological Science Center has a requirement for the dredging of Pond 3 and one chlorine contact tank (concrete basin). The specific dredging includes, but not limited to the following:- Dredge entire pond to remove settlements, remove settlements from tanks (leaf debris mostly).- Work will take place in the following county in West Virginia: Jefferson- Period of Performance is 63 days after notice to proceed is issued.- The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000.- Request for Quotes (RFQ) 140G0125Q0017 will close August 13, 2025, at 10:00 am pacific standard time.- A site visit will be held on August 5, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. (EST) CONTRACTORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND THE SITE VISIT. For site visit information please refer to FAR Clauses 52.236-27 and 52.236-27A*1. If you are planning to attend, please email either Dayna Parkin or Adam Kotulka at dparkin@usgs.gov or akotulka@usgs.gov to provide you're the names who are going, and emails along with phone numbers no later than 24 hours before the site visit starts.- The NAICS Code is 237990. The size standard is $37.0 million. This acquisition will be 100% Small Business Set Aside.- Amendment 0001 has been implemented because there are two different Past Performance Evaluations that are inserted in the contract. In section L.13. Instructions to offerors, NAICS and Magnitude of Construction is to remove the section called Non-Price Factor 1: Past Performance.
