- The proposed project, hereinafter referred to as the “Project” consists of the reconstruction of Driftwood Road and Ellis Road—from U.S. Highway 98 to Scenic Gulf Drive in Miramar Beach—into a one‑way paired roadway system. It includes demolition and rebuilding of the asphalt pavement into two 12‑ft travel lanes paired with an 8‑ft concrete multi‑use path. Stormwater will be managed using Type F curb and gutter coupled with an exfiltration trench. The Project also involves a comprehensive and phased maintenance of traffic plan during construction as well as extensive coordination with utility providers, including an optional bid item for potentially relocating water and sewer lines.Contract Time: The contract duration is FOUR HUNDRED TWENTY (420) days to substantial completion with an additional THIRTY (30) days for punch list completion.
