The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking proposals from qualified firms (the “Offeror” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and proposals will be received via the City-s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement (https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva), to be received no later than Proposal Submission Date at Proposal Submission Time (local prevailing time).The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified firms to provide a Drone as First Responder Program.The City of Newport News is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced firms to provide comprehensive support for the design, implementation, operation, and long-term sustainment of a Drone as First Responder (DFR) Program. This program is a key public safety initiative designed to enhance the operational effectiveness and response capabilities of both the Newport News Police Department (NNPD) and the Newport News Fire Department (NNFD).
