- The Alachua County Library District has been selected to participate in USACs E-Rate Cybersecurity Pilot Program and is seeking proposals for a Next Generation Firewall (NGFW). The District has standardized on Watchguard security products and is looking at the Watchguard Firebox 5800 series due to its cloud management and integration with the Districts existing Watchguard Cloud services. Equivalent NGFW equipment will be considered. The contract will be for hardware and associated licensing only. No installation services are required beyond manufacture support. 5-year manufacture support licensing is preferred; however, 3-year and 4-year licensing options can be indicated in the Submittal.
