Description:
Alexander County Government has issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from highly qualified engineering firms interested in contracting with the County to provide professional engineering services for the Project Title project as specified in this RFQ. Interested firms should submit a Statement of Qualification to the County before the deadline stated in the RFQ document. Alexander County will review the submittals and engage the most qualified firm to develop and submit a proposal. Statement of qualification submittals must be received by Alexander County no later than Response Submission Time EST on Response Submission Date in order to be considered.The East Alexander Park Renovation Project seeks to study, design, permit, and construct various improvements through a design-bid-build process to an existing public park owned and operated by Alexander County Government.These improvements consist generally of:updating three existing baseball/softball fields with new fencing, dugout area updates, grading and drainageconstructing additional soccer fields (as space allows)designing and constructing additional public parking as well as updating existing parkingconstructing a walking trail along the perimeter of the propertydemolition of the existing concessions building and construction of a new concessions buildingdesign and installation of new playground equipment to replace existing equipmentinstallation of new field lighting for all sports fieldsThe selected engineering firm will also work with the owner on a consultative basis to suggest other improvements which may be suited for the site.
