Description
This solicitation is being issued as a small business set aside on an unrestricted basis to allow for full and open competition for small businesses. The associated NAICS code is 334516. Offerors must also be registered in Systems for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov per FAR 52.212.1 lack of registration in SAM will qualify contractor as ineligible for award. All responsible sources may submit a quotation in response to this solicitation which shall be considered. The solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a firm fixed type contract based on the lowest Price Technically Acceptable. This requirement is for authorized approved vendors to perform services for brand name equipment. The Naval Medical Research Command (NMRC) intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror. All offers must have a Unique Entity Identification Number at (SAM) at www.sam.gov.
NMRC's Genomics Department of the Biological Defense Research Directorate, maintains a state of the art phage therapy research portfolio aimed at ultimately providing medical countermeasure s for the fleet. The requirement is for an easySpiral Dilute automatic diluter and plater. Specifically, the following items are needed:
(1) easySpiral Dilute automatic plater for Petri dishes Plating modes: exponential (Spiral), Constant (= manual type) circle, pouring Petri dish diameter: 55mm, 90 mm or 150mm - QTY: 1/EA; and
