Description : The New York City Economic Development Corporation (“NYCEDC”) is launching a new initiative to create an Economic Mobility Network (“Network”) in two pilot locations-Sunset Park and Hunts Point-and invites nonprofit organizations to submit proposals to be the Network Operator. The Network Operator will serve as a lead organizer for collective action on workforce development in the community and be NYCEDC-s primary partner in implementing a co-created, future-focused, and neighborhood-specific workforce strategy that fosters long-term economic mobility.NYCEDC is committed to fostering an inclusive and competitive economy for all New Yorkers, with a particular focus on equitable economic development.
