- 1. United Nations Procurement Division (UNPD) seeks an Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified companies for the provision of electrical maintenance and installation services at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City.2. The contract duration for the provision of these services shall be for an intial period of three (3) years and may be renewed for up to two (2) additional one-year periods, at the sole option of the UN, based on satisfactory performance from the Contractor and availability of funds.3. The Vendor shall provide and pay for all labor, material, tools and equipment, transportation necessary for the execution of electrical equipment maintenance; on-call emergency response, repair, alteration and installation of electrical equipment; and on-call electrical construction services at the United Nations Headquarters and off-site buildings in New York. 4. The Contractors shall also provide yearly testing for the ASCO Emergency Power Parallel Gear and Transfer Switches and ensure that equipment is fully operational. 5. The Vendors will be expected to demonstrate the following during the bidding process: a. Established in business for at least 5 years performing at least 3 projects related to services stated in the Scope of Work (SOW) within the past 5 years; b.
