Description:
The St Mary-s County Government (County,) Building Services Division is soliciting competitive bids for a Licensed Electrician to perform installations, repairs, modifications and improvements, as well as fire alarm and generator maintenance at various County Facilities. This Contract will be based on time and materials, inclusive of all labor, materials, tools and equipment required to complete the work. Hourly rates shall be inclusive of all fees, surcharges and costs associated with arriving at sites, completing the work, providing clean-up, hauling and proper disposal of any debris.All services shall be supervised or performed by a Maryland State Licensed Electrician who will ensure and certify that the Work complies with this Contract and all applicable Codes. The Contractor shall provide a copy of their State of Maryland issued electrical license, and NICET Fire Alarm Systems Level 1 certification(s) with their bid submission. Failure to submit proof of license may render your bid non-responsive.The Contractor shall notify the COTR of any licensed staff changes during their performance of this Contract.
