Description:
PURPOSEIn order to be in compliance with federal, state and local purchasing laws, the Birdville Independent School District (BISD) is soliciting competitive sealed proposals for Electrical Supplies stored at our distribution center to supply to all of BISD on an as needed basis. Based on the 2025-2026 expenditure, the total estimated contract on an annual basis $42,219.70.This solicitation will replace RFCSP 015-25 Electrical Supplies. Vendors currently awarded under RFCSP 015-25 must submit a new proposal under this solicitation to be considered for continued participation.SCOPE OF WORKThis contract will encompass warehouse drop shipments as specified in the line item schedule. Quantities provided are estimates based on the District-s 2024-2025 purchasing history and are intended for evaluation and comparison purposes only.BISD does not guarantee any minimum or maximum purchase quantities under this contract. Actual order volumes may vary depending on District needs, available funding, and operational requirements.CONTRACT TERM AND RENEWALSThis proposal shall be effective from March 1, 2026 through February 28, 2027. The District and Proposer may, upon mutual consent, extend the contract for two (2) additional one-year periods (not to exceed a total of 3 years) upon written request of the Proposer presented no later than forty-five (45) days prior to the expiration of the contract.
