Description
Procedure used to solicit and award contract: This notice is for the issuance of a blanket purchase agreement call request on BPA “R6 Professional and Forestry Services BPA 12046W20A00XX”. This was a competitive request for quotes under a previously issued BPA to the contractors that were awarded Vegetation Management (Timber, Silviculture, Botany, Invasive Species) only. Only current BPA holders can quote the forthcoming call request.
Description:
The awarded call order is for commercial timber harvest unit layout and other associated tasks within the Ellis Project area, located on the Heppner and North Fork John Day Ranger Districts, with the majority of work being commercial timber harvest unit layout. The end result required is to layout harvest units, tag and paint harvest unit boundaries, provide complete logging systems worksheets, layout temporary road locations, and GPS unit boundaries to the standards included herein and to the standards stated in the Timber Cruising Handbook (FSH 2409.12) chapter 50, Area Determination, Timber Cruising Handbook (FSH 2409.12), layout specifications guide, boundary marking guide, temporary road layout guide, and in the Government-s Quality Control Plan.
